Probably an early 20th century rencong from Sumatra. Blade is 9 ½ inches long forged from fine pattern welded steel (with pamor). Horn handle. Total length 13 ½ inches.

Old horn handle is slightly damaged. The handle style is hulu puntung. It is believed that this style was adopted for better concealment.
