The ferrule and clip are made of silver. The clip has a simple leaf engraving on it. The patina on the silver suggests that this is old.

'Tiger stripes' of the Angsana wood is clearly visible on the sheath. Chatoyance on the hilt is also visible. The metal band on the lower part of the sheath is made of silver.

The blade thickness is about 5 mm.

The blade is well-balanced. It can be suspended on its edge, horizontally.

The hilt (hulu) is made from kemuning woods. See the chatoyance of the handle. The sheath has the 'tiger stripes' effect.
