The hilt is made of <i>kenaung</i> wood with a malacca cup <i>pendokok</i>, made of silver, with openworks design.

The <i>hulu</i> is in <i>kerdas</i> form. The <i>sampir</i> is made from <i>jati</i> (teak) wood and the <i>batang</i> is made from <i>sena</i> wood. The slight protusion of the blade is common for this <i>tebeng</i> style sheath.

There is a groove in the centre of the blade which suggests that it is for a talismanic inlay. Just below the groove, there is <i>pamor akhodiyat</i> visible.

The 9 inches blade is slightly curved. Total length is 12 inches. Pamor <i>Satriya Pinayungan</i> is visible near the tip of the blade. It is sometimes said to be a loose pamor material. Nevertheless the pusaka-value is high. (It's direct translation is 'Warrior sheltering under palm-leaf').
