The blade is protruding a little from the sheath, typical of Malay pieces.

The hulu (hilt) and sampir (upper cross section) are made from ketengga woods and batang (shaft) of sena woods.

The pendokok (hilt ring) with simple carvings.

The pendokok (hilt ring) is made using a 3-piece construction, lower shaft, mid ri-padan and the lotus cup section. The lotus petals are made from engraved lines, then embossed into 5 circles.

A simple ivory buntut was made by a tukang in Kelantan, typical of malay form.

The blade length is 7 1/2 inches, Overall length is 12 1/2 inches. Pamor ujung gunung and wengkon are visible. Tempered mark, 1 inch from the tip.
